Let Christmas commence!
Now that thanksgiving is over, we were in full gear to prepare for Christmas, both spiritually and physically. We set aside a day after thaksgiving to set up our tree, only to find out that one of the 3 pieces to our tree base was missing.... how can that be missing? It's not like its lying around the house all year... its a mystery. So we had to come up with a solution, but it would have to wait until we had more time. So the following Monday, andrew went to work. I was so proud of him, he was determined to find a solution, and so he did! If any of you know Andrew well, you know he is not a huge handyman. He doesn't enjoy it. But, he is not opposed to a little physical labor by any means, and being a good Christmas sport as he was, he found a left over wooden closet rod and his drill out, amd started manufacturing a contraption that would replace the third piece of our missing base. Well, 4 hours later, and some prayers, our tree stood!
some leisure reading in between work :)
Benson got out his play took to help daddy drill! it was cute
Victory!!!
