Lighting the Lights in Riverwoods
To kick off the holiday season, Aunt Vicki invited us to come down and go with the family to see the lighting of the lights at the Riverwoods shopping center in Provo, UT. We had some dinner at Malawi's pizza and then walked around until it was time for the lighting. They had live performers singing Christmas songs and the mayor of Provo finally lit the lights. We were standing on the sie of the stage that Santa arrived at, so the kids got a good close up look of him, fun!

Since Andrew was on a basketball trip I didn't want to make the late trek home afterwards, so we spent the night at Andrew's parents house. The next morning we had fun hanging out with grandma and grandpa. Grandma loves to make the kids yummy breakfasts.
Teaching Benson to play the ukelele, a skill I did not know she had! pretty cool
Then we helped them clean out their yard for the winter. Nothing like some good manual labor for kiddos to get some energy out :) genius.
The we ended the afternoon with a fun matching game, and off we were to go home! Thanks for letting us stay, grandma and grandpa
