Summer & Kandis bridal shower
There is lots to catch up on these last few weeks! Summer has officially begun. My cousin Lori and her daughter Courtney from California were in town last week for a visit and we loved seeing them. We all met in Murray, UT for dinner at the "Braza Grill", a brazilian restaurant. It was a lot of fun.

Then we celebrated father's day this Sunday. It was a busy day for us, I don't think Andrew got much deserved rest :) But that's him a nutshell, always serving and providing for his family! We spoke in a sacrament meeting at an assisted living home in our stake, which was very sweet. We also started our new callings as primary teachers on Sunday, which should also be very  fun. It was hard to get a picture of both kids smiling with dad on fathers day, so just pretend these next 2 pictures are morphed into one:

What a wonderful father this man!!! I can't say enough about how much I love him and how lucky our children are to have him as their daddy.Sunday night we spent with Andrew's grandparents and family as we said goodbye to Andrew's uncle and aunt who are leaving to serve as mission presidents in El Salvador. How exciting, best of luck to them.On Wednesday of this week, my mom came down to see us for a few days and we decided to take the children for the first time this summer. We had a blast, and they couldn't get enough of it! Ella looked so cute in her new suit that Aunt Vicki gave her:

The next day we met Andrew at the BYU creamery for lunch and got this cute picture of Benson & Oma. How adorable is that?

Then, lastly, that night we attended a bridal shower for our future sister-in-law Kandis at her grandparents house in Midvale. We had a lovely time meeting all her family and celebrating the upcoming wedding. What a wonderful, sweet girl she is and we are so glad to have her join our family. The wedding is less than a month away now!

and that's pretty much all the week's exciting activities. In between all the fun, I have been packing & trying to get this house ready for Andrew's parents and sister who will be home from their mission on Wednesday!!! We can't wait :)

  1. Wow you guys have been busy, but it looks like fun! Have you ever been to the splash park that is free by your mom's house in Ogden? If not I'll have to show you next time, it is fun!
