Ella's 1st birthday Yesterday our sweet little girl turned 1. Her birthday didn't start out as fun as we had hoped, as she had to get tested for food allergies. They found she has an egg and peanut allergy, so we will have to be real careful with what we feed her. But in the afternoon all the test were over and we got her all pretty for her party. Family started arriving throughout the afternoon and we let all the kids play in the backyard. Ella loved this! She especially loved pulling herself up on the jungle gym and standing there for most of the time. Benson also loves climbing now and tried hanging from the bars with help from uncle Eric:

When it was time for dinner and all our guests had arrived, we went inside and had some dinner. Uncle Steve is taking a floral design class and arranged Ella her very own bouquet of flowers!

Ella loves her little puffs snacks! After dinner we moved to the family room where we sung her happy birthday and opened her presents. Benson helped me carry the cake over to her. Halfway Benson blew out the candle so we had to turn around for another try :)

 I decorated her cake, my first time. My mom helped me :) Ella got some great gifts thanks to all her loving family:

 

 She was pretty tired at this point but we managed to squeeze out a couple more family birthday pictures. We love you Ella!!! We look forward to spending many more happy years with our little angel.
