Weekend Recap
Well, all of Andrew's siblings are back together once again! Andrew's brother Greg returned home from his mission on Friday and his brother Steve flew in from Baltimore to join us for the weekend. Between missions it has been over 4 years since all of these brothers have been together! How fun for them to catch up.


To all of our GREAT surprise, Greg had another tag along when he arrived at the airport: Their little sister Sarah!! Yes, so ALL the children were reunited. How fun. Sarah was able to come back for 3 weeks for a vacation and then return 'home' with mom and dad in Chile who are still serving their mission in Chile until July of next year. Andrew, Benson, Ella and I missed being at the airport, because on our way to the airport we got a flat tire and were stuck on the side of the road for almost 2 hours waiting to get towed.... not our idea of an ideal homecoming! But we were able to meet up with everyone at the restaurant for lunch.


We have had a blast this weekend catching up and celebrating the holiday weekend. Saturday morning we had a yard sale to make room for Eric and Lindsy to move into our basement. We have done quite a bit of moving and spring cleaning these last few weeks.



My mom also got back from Holland last Wednesday so I was really happy to see her again after being in Holland for almost 2 months. She joined us for the weekend festivities. The kids were happy to see their oma again!

Greg had a homecoming party at Aunt Vicki's house on Saturday night and we enjoyed a very nice evening there which ended in being able to watch the fireworks from her patio. Ella loves playing with her dogs.

On Sunday we enjoyed going to church with everyone and in the afternoon grandma and grandpa Glazier had a welcome home dinner for Greg at their house. We had a real nice time there. Before we headed up there Greg took a spin on Steve's new motorcycle and Sarah enjoyed some snuggle time with Ella:

We hung out with all the family and enjoyed a yummy Mexican meal. Ella was adorable in her Independence day dress she got from Aunt Vicki and Benson enjoyed some chocolate cake:
